Kangaroo Zoo

About a week ago we wanted to do something that was fun as a family that didn't cost much money.
I had a coupon for a place called Kangaroo Zoo so we decided to go there. We only had to pay for Brayden because Glenn and I were too big and Caitlyn was too young. It is a place that has a lot of blown up slides and bouncy house type things. Brayden was pretty nervous when we first got there and didn't want to get on anything.  I was frustrated cause I wanted to do something fun and he was being very timid.  We found a smaller slide that he decided to try. He loved it! There were 2 other slides that were the same size but he loved the first one he went on and spent almost all of the time on it.

The first little while he just slid down the slide but after watching some bigger girls he started jumping down the slide. He also loved getting a drink from the water fountain and using the hand sanitizer to clean his hands. He played for an hour and a half and was completely exhausted by the time we got home. We had so much fun and we will definitely go again!

Brayden says the funniest things!

This blog is going to be used to display the pictures Brayden takes, pictures of Brayden, and things he says or does that I remember to share. Here are some of the most recent Brayden quotes:

  • While looking at a picture of Christ praying in the Garden of Gethsemene next to a leaning tree Brayden says, "Jesus sliding!"
  • After church I asked Brayden what he played with in nursery and he told me "I played with friends." So I asked what his friends names were and he said, "Jesus Sunbeam."
  • On the way to McDonalds Brayden tells me he wants to eat steak and shrimp.
  • While trying to find the scriptures I tried to tell Brayden that he had just had his hand on it but instead I said it is in your hand. With a sarcastic shocked look on his face and his mouth hanging open he looks down at his open hand.
I will try to update this on a nightly/weekly basis of the funny/cute/smart things that Brayden says. I sure love my sweet boy!

Brayden's First Photo Shoot

At Grandma and Grandpa Pearson's house right after Brayden got his first tripod and camera. His camera has 2 megapixels :)

In Rexburg, ID at BYU-I during one of Glenn's engagement photo shoots.

Brayden loves his camera and tripod and he loves to follow daddy around while he is taking pictures. Brayden is going to become quite the photographer like his dad. :)
